Dinner in Two Harbors

Last night at dinner, we picked a table outside at Blackwoods in Two Harbors - well, to be technically correct, I picked the outdoor table.  It's a perfect summer night in northern Minnesota and if there was an option to sit outside, I wanted to take advantage of it.

The kids were chilly, so fortunately we had sweatshirts in the Jeep.

Blackwoods was a brewpub and restaurant, so I felt obligated to try a beer.  It was pretty good.

Jeff went out of the box and ordered a pasta dish with salmon.  Henry and Ruth went with their favorites:  ribs for Henry and macaroni and cheese for Ruth.  I had the house meatloaf that is grilled and glazed with barbecue sauce.  All of our meals were delicious, and the kids loved the bread.

We skipped dessert at the restaurant because there was a Dairy Queen across the street.  Ruth only ate half of her dinner to save room for ice cream.  She's smart like that.
